WORKING CONDITION: Excellent. This phaser sounds incredibly deep due to its use of an optical lamp in the circuit. Unlike most pedal phasers, even the low frequencies of the signal are modulated, resulting in a very musical sweep. The UNIVOX logo illuminates in time with the tempo of the phase modulation. This is a super cool box.

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Excellent. This PHZ-1 was well-cared for in its first fifty years. All functions work as they should, and all switches, iO jacks, the rate knob, and lamps are in top condition.
