The original The Harvestman Model 1974 Stillson Hammer is a unique "burst generator" Eurorack module designed for complex trigger sequencing. Unlike the later Mark II performance sequencer, the original Model 1974 focuses on generating controllable bursts of gate events across multiple outputs.

- The module functions by taking a single manual button press or external gate input to initiate a "burst" of repeated gate events.
- Gate Outputs: It features six dedicated gate outputs and one master clock output.
- Voltage Control: Users can voltage-control the burst frequency (time between gates), the output span (which outputs are used), and the total event count.
- Transition Patterns: The sequence of outputs can be set to forward sequential, pendulum (forward then backward), or random.
