WORKING CONDITION: Very Good. The motors are in very good condition, and all transport functions operate smooth and snappy. All buttons and switches are in clean shape, and functions related to them are responsive. Audio playback on both channels works nicely and VU meters light up and indicate levels evenly. 

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Very Good. Cosmetically, this 42 is in very good condition. The VU's, buttons, capstans, pinch rollers and head stacks all check out, visually, and the chassis, stand, and remote also look great.
