PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This listing is for a Synthesis Technology E650 Deflector Shield Eurorack Synthesizer Module. The Synthesis Technology E560 Deflector Shield is a unique DSP-based Eurorack module that functions as a frequency shifter, phase shifter, and ring modulator. It is known for its clean sound and distinct carrier morphing feature.

SPECS:

• Core Functions: The E560 has three distinct operating modes:
  • Frequency Shift: This applies a variable frequency offset to an input signal, recreating the effect of the original Bode frequency shifter. It allows for simultaneous up/down shifting via two separate outputs.
  • Phase Shift: Exclusive to the E560, this mode uses an eight-stage all-pass network to shift the phase from 0 to 360 degrees relative to the input, using a carrier wavetable to define the shifting vector.
  • Ring Modulation: The module can also act as a ring modulator.
• Carrier Morphing: A unique feature that provides unusual output harmonics by using internal data to affect the nature of the shift or phase vector.
• Control Voltage (CV) Integration: There are four CV inputs, one for each of the panel controls (frequency/shift, wet/dry mix, feedback, and one other control depending on mode) for real-time modulation and dynamic sound shaping.
