WORKING CONDITION: Very Good. Refurbished and purchased from Syntaur only a few years ago. All sounds are strong, faders and buttons work properly and the onboard analog spring reverb has a sweet vintage tone which adds to the old hollywood black & white cinematic sound of this synth. There is some natural oscillator aliasing (aka slop or smear) but this is part of the thick chorusing sound. Key bed feels great and the lamp in the power switch is solid. 

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Very Good. There are a few battle scars on the woodwork but the metal is in great shape, as are the faders. Please Note: the original wooden top cover is not included.

• The Freeman String Symphonizer was a 5-octave digital synthesizer of the 1970s. (The first prototype being shown in 1969, but the most well-known units were shown in 1970). It was finally manufactured by the Chicago Musical Instrument Co. and was also known as the Cordovox CSS. Its sound was related to that of the ARP String Ensemble – cool, glassy-sounding strings.
