WORKING CONDITION: Very Good. The amp sounds fantastic, like a very aggressive Plexi at higher volumes. All features are working nicely. As per the design, the tremolo only operates on the Normal channel (II) and not the Bright channel (I). However, since this is 4-input amp, the channels can be bridged with a second instrument cable, enabling both channels to work simultaneously. Each volume can then be used as a mixer to dial in the amount of tremolo from the Normal channel.  

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Very Good. Some of the labels on the panel are gone (see photos), and the chassis has what appears to be a phone number scrawled into the metal. The cabinet is solid, the speakers are robust with original cone codes, and the handle is still in good condition. The bottom tolex is a little ripped up as expected and there are caster sockets but no casters included. This is a serious beast of a combo amplifier that is built like a Mack truck. Also note that it appears that Jim Marshall personally inspected this amp at the factory, with the "JM" initials on the inspection sticker on the side of the chassis.

In 1969, the standard Marshall 50W combo was the Model 1962 "Bluesbreaker," which by that year had evolved from its original JTM45 circuit into a more aggressive 50-watt JMP circuit. A rare 4x10 variant, the Model 1961, was also produced during this period.
