WORKING CONDITION: Very Good. This Kalamazoo-made Olympic plays great with low action and no fret buzz. The intonation is set for standard tuning, and the frets still have many years of life left in them. The pickup sounds clear and both the volume and tone pots work well. 

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Very Good. The headstock on this guitar has never been broken, making it a rarity for 60's Gibson-made Epiphone guitars. It originally shipped with a top-mounted vibrato system that was replaced (thankfully) with an adjustable wraparound bridge. There are the usual signs of age with a nearly 70-year-old vintage guitar, but nothing that warrants any pause or affects its playability. This is essentially a 60's Gibson Melody Maker - same wood, frets, etc - at a much more accessible price.

Note that the chipboard case is heavily worn through on one corner and provides little security for this guitar. We're including it because it was delivered to us this way. We'll take care to wrap and protect the guitar for shipment.
